Woolsey Wet Prairie, located on the west side of Fayetteville, has received the Arkansas
Wildlife Federation's Corporate Conservationist of the Year Award.  The Arkansas Wildlife
Federation (AWF) was formed in 1936 and this is the first time that a city has been selected
as the winner of this award, which is granted for excellence in protecting and managing the
wildlife and natural resources in Arkansas.  The City’s award nomination was made by the
Arkansas Environmental Federation.
